Terrina Chrishell

Terrina Christopherhell Stause [1] was born on July 21, 1982. She is best known for her character Amanda Dillon in All My Children as well as Jordan Ridgeway on Days of Our Lives. Stause was originally born in Draffenville. She attended Murray State University, from which she earned her B.A. She began performing in theatre in 2003. The name she uses for her middle name "Chrishell" is an evocative word that was created in response to the unique circumstances of her birth when her mother went into labor at an Shell station and the attendant who was named Chris was able to deliver the baby. Strause asserts that the rumor surrounding her birth is false. She revealed that her mother suffered from issues with her car, and she stopped at the gas station. She entered pre-labor while was at the car station. The car attendant really helped her get to a hospital. Strause was born in a hospital. Her mother separated from her biological father who was half Japanese and half Spanish prior to her knowing she was expecting. Jeff is her step-son. Chrishell Strause missed middle school for a full year because she was living in the shelter of a tent. Strause remembered washing her hair in a river taking food stamps and concealing her identity from her classmates. When she turned 10, her parents "struggled with mental and addiction health." Then, she became a member of the Worldwide Church of God. Her mother never had an employment that was steady and Strause describes her as having a free spirit and self-righteous.
